Bowling for Nothing

As Mike so eloquently stated, the Turners-FC Tech game was less than exciting the other day. I think Turners could be fun to watch if they played someone who could run with them. Like Greenfield. What? Greenfield and Turners are playing? Tonight? In my own backyard? Sweet deal. Tip off is at 7:30 at Greenfield High.
My own BC Eagles face Navy in the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte, NC tomorrow at 1. Thank god for the coaching change or the Eagles wouldn’t really have anything to play for. Now they at least need to win to have that 10-win season to show any recruits that still want to come to BC. The Globe wrote a story about a kid from NC who is still coming, so I guess that is good, but I am a little worried about the rest of the class. I think Jags will do some recruiting in the southern states to get more skill position players to power the offensive side of the ball. I really couldn’t be less excited about this game, I mean it is the 6th best ACC bowl, against a weird looking Navy offense. Have a good one.
